Context
Private dentistry is sold on trust, and most clinic sites spend it: stock smiles, a price list and a form. Lumen needed a first screen that behaved like the clinic's own standard of work — considered, unhurried, and clearly not a template — while still doing the ordinary jobs of a clinic site.
Approach
The page opens on a single rendered object rather than a photograph of people. Type is set in a high-contrast serif at large sizes, on a near-black stage, so the composition reads as editorial rather than commercial. Everything else — services, doctors, technology, results — is arranged beneath it as a calm, scannable structure.
Design decisions
- A near-black stage so the rendered subject carries the whole first screen
- High-contrast serif display type against a restrained interface sans
- Ukrainian as the primary language, with English available from the header
- Generous negative space, no decorative gradients or floating cards
Engineering
- Next.js App Router with the interface rendered on the server
- 3D and motion loaded so they never block the first paint
- A booking path that reaches the clinic through Telegram rather than an unattended inbox
- A CRM surface behind the public site for handling what the booking produces
