Interactive product demo
An interactive product demo is your product as a real-time 3D object on your own page: the visitor turns it, zooms into the detail and opens hotspots that explain the parts. It replaces the photo carousel for products where the shape, the detail or the finish is the argument.

When it is the right format
- The product has detail a photograph flattens: a mechanism, a joint, a finish
- Buyers ask the same questions that a hotspot could answer
- The product is sold before it is held: online, at a distance, from a catalogue
- You already have a CAD or 3D model from engineering or manufacturing
When it is not
It is not the right tool for a product whose value is in use rather than in form — software, a service, a consumable. There, a short film or a plain page does the job better and cheaper, and we will say so.
What we build
- Your model optimised for the web: decimated, compressed, textures sized for a phone
- A scene with product lighting, orbit controls and a sensible camera
- Hotspots with captions in every language your site has
- Adaptive quality and a still fallback for weak devices
- A component your team embeds, or a page we host
What you send us
- A model: STEP, IGES, OBJ, FBX, GLB or a Blender file
- Photographs of the real product for materials
- The five things a buyer should notice

LUMEN Dental 3D
A dental restoration shown as a 3D object the visitor can explore — and a clinic site built around it.
LUMEN Dental shows the format on a clinic site: a rendered restoration as the first screen and a real-time 3D scene of the implant, abutment and crown below it, driven by scroll. Open the live site and try it on a phone.
How it works
Four steps from your product to a page people can explore.
- 01
Product
You send what you have: CAD, a 3D model, drawings, photographs — or the product itself.
- 02
Experience
We decide what a person must see and understand: the parts, the mechanism, the sequence, the scale.
- 03
Build
The model is optimised for the web, the interaction is built, the scene is tuned on real phones.
- 04
Launch
The experience is embedded in your existing site or shipped as its own product page.
Questions
- How big is the file a visitor downloads?
- We target under 2 MB for the whole scene and often land well below it: the LUMEN hero model is 392 KB. Draco compression, texture sizing and removing geometry nobody sees are the usual tools.
- Does it work on phones?
- Yes. The scene runs at reduced resolution on phones, and a device that cannot run it gets a still image and the same captions, so nothing is lost.
- Can we host it ourselves?
- Yes. You receive the component and the optimised model; there is no monthly licence for a viewer.
